What you will do

• Connect with prospective learners through calls, WhatsApp, and scheduled counselling sessions.
• Understand each learner's career aspirations, current challenges, and suitability for the program.
• Explain the curriculum, learning outcomes, fees, and career support accurately.
• Drive webinar registrations and attendance, and conduct structured follow-ups with attendees.
• Handle objections related to fees, timing, career choices, and program value.
• Own assigned leads from initial contact through counselling, enrollment, and payment follow-up.
• Achieve agreed weekly and monthly enrollment and revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, lead stages, conversation notes, and follow-up commitments.

Responsibilities

• Own the full admissions cycle from first contact to enrollment for assigned leads.
• Conduct counselling conversations that align programs with learner career goals.
• Drive and follow up on webinar registrations to improve conversion.
• Generate referrals from interested prospects and enrolled learners.
• Coordinate with marketing, training, and placement teams for a smooth learner handover.
• Support junior associates through call feedback and effective sales practices.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in inside sales, business development, education sales, or admissions counselling.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and independently close sales.
• Strong spoken communication skills in Tamil and English.
• Effective discovery, counselling, objection-handling, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Experience managing leads through a CRM and maintaining a disciplined follow-up pipeline.
• Ability to work in a target-driven environment with ownership and accurate reporting.

Nice to have

• EdTech, upskilling, or career training sales experience.
• Familiarity with admissions counselling or education-sector growth.
